NEW YORK — Shares of some top finance companies were down at the close of trading: Bank of America fell $.52 or 3.5 percent, to $14.48. Citigroup fell $.07 or 2.2 percent, to $3.15. JPMorgan Chase fell $.60 or 1.6 percent, to $37.70.
